Runaway is our new 2022 custom designed 41-foot power catamaran. Built for day charters, This fun and fast boat is designed to provide a smooth, comfortable ride while giving ample room to all onboard. You will find open and shaded areas with comfortable cushion seating and daybeds for your relaxation.
If time is an issue, the Double Dip is the trip for YOU! This 4-hour excursion gives you the freedom to choose between a morning or afternoon boat day, allowing you to enjoy your activity-filled vacation while in Puerto Rico. Before or after the excursion plan a Rainforest or Bioluminescent Bay Tour, enjoy a local culinary experience in one of many great Fajardo restaurants or enjoy dancing the night away at La Placita de Santurce and not worrying about having to wake up early.
Join Sail Getaways on an unforgettable voyage to Icacos Island and the Cordillera Cays Natural Reserve. Its bright blue waters and white sandy beaches make it the Top Attraction in Fajardo. First, we visit the coral reefs, which have a wide variety of colored tropical fish and thriving corals that have been protected since 1980. After snorkeling we then move to our second stop, where we visit a pristine beach or sand bar where you can swim, float, walk the white sand beach or just relax and sunbathe. This activity is a fun, safe, and memorable experience for the whole family that you just can’t miss when you visit Puerto Rico!

Food: Due to Covid-19 guidelines we will be implementing a new light lunch which consists of a choice of three pre-packed sandwiches, a bag of chips, and a whole fruit.
Drinks: Unlimited water, soda, & fruit juices ALL DAY! Tropical Rum Beverages are served during & after lunch.
Gear: Quality snorkeling gear and flotation devices. We disinfect all snorkel equipment following each use, but we encourage guests to bring their own snorkel gear when possible.

14 days prior to the date of the trip there will be no penalty and you will receive a full refund.
13 days or less to date of trip: There will be a fee of 50% of your booking.
24 hours prior to trip: There will be a fee of 100% of your booking.
No-shows and late arrival for the time the adventure is scheduled to begin will be charged the full price.
Same day cancellations are considered a no-show and are non-refundable.We reserve the right to cancel a public sail if a minimum number of reservations are not received. Customers will be given a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
All marine activities are subject to water conditions. Please call a day prior for an update on cancellations or change of destination due to water conditions as per the captain’s discretion. These decisions can be announced at check-in.
If we cancel a tour due to weather or sea conditions, you will not be charged. You will have the option to reschedule for the next available space. Our captains will make the final decision as to weather conditions. Remember, a few passing rain showers are normal in the tropics and rain is more likely in the center of the island and to the west. We monitor weather reports constantly, and especially the conditions on the east coast. Fajardo’s weather can differ greatly from the weather in San Juan or wherever you are located.
Please don’t make the mistake of deciding not to come if it’s raining where you are, as you will be charged if the trip goes out. If you have any questions about the weather conditions, please call us to be sure.
Passengers who are inebriated, hungover or who are not in conditions to board the boat, the Captain will be in his right to deny the passenger(s) to board the vessel.
Passengers that don’t meet the proper requirements will not be allowed to participate and the money will be non-refundable.
Due to the unique nature and small size of our groups, we are forced to remain firm about our cancellation policy. Consider that on the day of the excursion we will be there, on-site, waiting and ready to serve you. Regardless of cancellation reason, our time and fixed cost are already invested. We may have turned down other customers by holding your space.

The most important thing to bring is a great attitude and a fun spirit. We also highly recommend beach towels, sunglasses, camera to capture the fun, and any snacks you may want onboard. We recommend that you wear a bathing suit under light clothing and bring dry clothes for the ride home. We also provide all Snorkeling equipment including Mask, Snorkel, Fins and flotation devices.
We will be disinfecting all snorkel equipment following each use, but we encourage guests to bring their own snorkel gear when possible. We would like remind our guests that these environmentally-sensitive areas, while protected, are still exposed to many threats. In an effort to conserve and protect them we encourage you to use long sleeve performance shirts or “rash guards” as well as ball caps or hats for sun protection rather than sunblock. Read why here.
